The Anemoku

Imagination is where every dream begins. At Windward Construction, it’s also where every home begins.

Welcome to ‘Anemoku,’ the Hawaiian word for peninsula, a name that honors the incredible piece of land on which this masterpiece now stands. From the very first sketch, our team at Windward saw not just a property, but a canvas. With our client’s vision as our guide, we set out to design a home that would celebrate its rare location, capture the beauty of tropical Southwest Florida, and weave in Polynesian influences of ohana – family, connection, and harmony with nature.

From the moment you arrive, Anemoku makes a statement. The soaring entry with its stone-wrapped columns and cypress-paneled ceiling leads you through 12-foot custom iron doors into a home that immediately opens up to paradise. A massive 135-degree,
ten-foot-tall disappearing wall of glass erases the line between indoors and out, drawing you straight to the water’s edge.

Inside, elegance and innovation meet. To one side, a translucent backlit stone feature wall creates a glowing centerpiece in the living space. On the other, the gourmet kitchen beckons with an 11-foot waterfall island – a place for stories, meals, and laughter to unfold. Shellstone floors carry you outdoors, where the true heartbeat of this home comes alive: an expansive outdoor living area made for both quiet moments and vibrant gatherings.
Whether you’re sipping a drink by the sunken fire pit, enjoying the breeze from the entertaining bar, or cooking in the fully outfitted summer kitchen, this home flows with ease from one experience to the next.

And just beyond, the water greets you. A striking negative edge pool wraps around the point of the property, its curves mirroring the shoreline, while an oversized spa offers relaxation under the stars.

Climb the sculptural stone-wrapped helical staircase to the upstairs entertaining room, where panoramic views of protected mangroves and coastal waters invite you to linger. Meanwhile, the owners can retreat to a serene private suite with wood-inlaid ceilings and a spa-like bath that feels suspended in nature, framed by sweeping views of the pool and beyond to the Caloosahatchee River.

Every inch of Anemoku is a reflection of thoughtful design and intentional living; a home where imagination, craftsmanship, and nature converge.
